James Aguiar

For twenty five years powerhouse tastemaker James Aguiar  has consistently brought a notably fresh stylized eye to every project in his career path; from his early days as a stylist at Bergdorf Goodman (and ultimately to Fashion Director at the fabled Fifth Avenue luxury retailer) to the world of Paris fashion at the creative helm of Nina Ricci, to on air host of Full Frontal Fashion and countless fashion spots and television appearances, and hollywood celebrity styling, the entire time with an insider's view from the coveted front row.

Well known throughout the industry for his personal style Aguiar has put his singular stamp on dramatic high fashion shoots for luxury houses Gucci, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Dior. His interior design projects have been published in national and international magazines, and  he has dressed celebrities who trust him for his deep knowledge and unerring taste.

For the past eight years Aguiar has held the role of VP Creative/Fashion Director for regional publishing giant Modern Luxury overseeing all of the fashion and celebrity pages.

James has been quoted in Vogue, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, The New York Times, New York Magazine, New York Post and The Daily News. On screen he has hosted "Full Frontal Fashion," "The Look for Less," "Style Court," and appeared on "The View," "Style Star," "Video Fashion," "House of DVF," "Chelsea Lately "among others and hosts his own Instagram Live show daily called jamesAtoday.
